Unit 1: The animal health industry

The animal health industry covers a huge range of organisations and people.

This session will look at the major players in the care of farm animal health and welfare in the UK. The history of the development of veterinary medicines and treatments will be traced and the emergence of preventative health planning highlighted.


At the end of this session you will be able to:
