This online lesson considers how to source the material and evidence required to collect, record and present information on Hurricane Isabel, as a case study of a hazardous event which affected the mid-eastern seaboard of the United States in September 2003.
The lesson follows on from a whiteboard activity which developed students' ability to approach the task of investigating a topical issue - such as a hurricane as a natural hazard or disaster. The investigational approach is structured using a timeline approach.
